My wisdom teeth are starting to come in.
As are most of my friends'.

I'm scared, I've heard such horror stories related to wisdom teeth. :scared:

1. Just ask them to leave.
But be polite.

2. Have them evaluated by the dentist
I hate to tell you that I am a source of horror stories. Of course I heard horror stories from my mother "Having my wisdom teeth out was worse than giving birth."
When it came time to have them out I thought that she must have been exaggerating that it really couldn't be that bad.
If you have to have them out, my advice would be to be put to sleep during the procedure. After that, ask for a pain killer that won't make you vomit if you take it on an empty stomach and will work for more than an hour.
I haven't given birth, but it was probably the worst medical/injury/illness type experience that I have had in my entire life. It is nothing to worry about though. After a couple of weeks after the procedure, everything will be perfectly fine and you won't ever have to worry about them again.

9. Mine are still coming in. They do this from time to time
Sometimes they hurt really bad.

I think they're going to need to get pulled.

Oh well, maybe I'll get some good drugs.

Hope your teeth are not hurting to much.

13. If your jaw is big enough...
you can keep them. My father-in-law had a perfect smile, no crowding or crooked teeth, and he had all four.

Otherwise.....ask for the knockout juice when they take them out!

14. I had my bottom ones out at 16
They were in danger of impacting. Really, it wasn't that big of a deal. And I'm a big baby when it comes to stuff like that. I haven't had my uppers out, and my dentist keeps pestering me to get them out, and I balk, so I really shouldn't talk. But, I just wanted to let you know that my experience wasn't all that bad, so maybe that will be a comfort to you.
