NC/SC/GA cat lovers: anyone looking to adopt an
adorable, sweet, affectionate long-haired all-black female cat? I've taken in several here and just can't take in any more, my life is full time cat care and I've got to get back to work or else my cats and I are going to starve to death. But there's a very sweet stray, obviously was dumped by someone because she's so affectionate, and she's hanging out in the area behind our house. I've been feeding her and she's a petite little thing, lovely black long fur with bright yellow eyes. She's a talker. I think she's pretty young b/c her teeth look very very white and sharp - she hasn't been gnawing on mousie carcasses for too long.

I am going to try to catch her this week and have her spayed. I will drive anywhere within NC/SC/GA and even Tennessee if someone will give her a loving home.

She is beautiful. I'm wary of taking her to any adoption place because she is all black and people do weird things to all black cats...and I live in weirdo fundie redneck territory. I've also seen 5 dead black cats on the side of the roads around here in the last two days and that bothers me - could just be people can't see black cats at night - they've all been hit by cars - but I feel protective of this kitty and want to find her a good home.

Anyone? One more kitty? I'll make sure she's been spayed and had all her first shots? PLEEEEZE?

1. Awwwwww
I live in Illinois, or I would love to take the little darling in. I hope that she finds a good home.

Why would someone dump a cat for being affectionate? That is a GOOD thing!

5. I can get one... she's coming to me now when I call,
and spends what seems like hours swirling around my legs, doing the cat figure-8 dance. It's foggy and gray here today (I'm 2-1/2 hours north of Atlanta) but I'll try to get a photo of her in the next few days and will send it to you, or will give you a link where you could see her on my website.

She's very small and wouldn't take up much space if you thought you could take one more! ;-)
