Teen Survives Scalping: Fellow Member Of Punk Clique Suspected
<snip>

BOISE, Idaho -- A member of a punk clique scalped another member apparently as punishment for her disrespectful behavior toward women, police said. The victim, a 16-year-old girl whose hair was cut in a mohawk, survived.

Authorities are searching for Marianne Dahle, 26, who allegedly tied the teen up and used a 4-inch knife to cut away the crown and back portion of her scalp. A felony arrest warrant accuses Dahle of aggravated battery, which carries a maximum sentence of 14 years.

Dahle was visiting Kirkham Hot Springs in central Idaho with the girl and a friend when the attack occurred Jan. 18. The teen spent two weeks in the hospital and is now recovering at home. Authorities did not release the girl's name, though she identified herself as Sheila to Boise TV station KTVB.

"When I say this gal was scalped, she was truly scalped," said Bill Braddock, chief deputy of Boise County. "The top of her head, her hair, was completely cut off. The motive, as near as we've been told by witnesses, was retaliation for acting in a way that the adult perceived as being offensive to women as a gender."

Braddock said the victim, Dahle and another teenage girl who witnessed the attack were long-term acquaintances who belonged to the same clique. The victim's mohawk hair cut may have played a role in the assault, he said.

1. I love how they mention she just happened to have a mohawk..
So it played a role in the attack, huh? Um, how exactly? Well, since we're making assumptions about the attack based on how she looks, I'll bet she was on drugs and worshipped the devil too!

Maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but do you get the feeling the mowhawk had absolutely nothing to do with the girl getting attacked?

3. Read the whole thing
The mohawk was central to the motivation. It is entirely relevant.

10. Nope, still not seeing it.
The motivation was that she was apparently being disrespectful to women. I don't doubt this was the work of a disturbed individual, but the mention of the mohawk just strikes me as an attempt to cast people who happen to look different as troublemakers, and legitimize prejudices about those people. People can read it and say "yup, I knew there was something about those people I didn't like."

5. I think
Gangs are stupid.

Gangs that injure people for "disrespect" are even more stupid.
And her Mohawk played a role in the crime,a sad stupid role but it was what triggered the attack,
Just like white shoes gets little girls beat up by the Tali ban gang because the Tali ban gang thought it was "disrespectful" for girls to wear white shoes.

It's the same old authoritarian, bully shit dressed up punk.
Which means it ain't punk.

If I lived In Idaho, I'd keep my Mohawk high and I'd speak my mind about stupid "punk tali ban gang leaders"whenever I wanted to,If the bitch found that disrespectful I'd tell her to get a job at Guantanamo or Abu Gharib because as far as I am concerned she has got the same non-ethical attitude twords people as * does,She's their kind of gal. This knife wielding sociopath piece of shit poser not only disrespected a human being over a _dress code_ and censored her brutally for opinion she didn't *like* she harmed her to bully her in a way historically reflects the cruelty twords Native Americans by white settlers,This bitch inadvertently acted like a racist, based in the torture she inflicted on the mow hawked girl!!

Something a true punk would never do,

People are pathetic. When will we stop dominating one another and seeking to control one another by inflicting barbaric injuries?
When will humanity grow past it's own asshole?

6. Stern?
That stupid fuck probably gets a tiny boner thinking about it,he is a woman hating turd.
I really am disgusted at Stern's exploiting of women and how he objectifies them.
He's fine talking about farts and stuff like that, hilarious in fact.
But he really is an asshole about issues like sexual exploitation, abuse, women and his"get over it" mentality.. No wonder his wife left him I couldn't stand being around a guy like him either..
