"Black Eyed Peas." they stink on ice!
Edited on Sun Feb-06-05 06:00 PM by Archae
Watching the Super Bowl pre-game and that group is "singing."

They stink, they really suck.

3. I kinda like them too
but then, I'm old ... what do I know about what's "hip" these days! LOL

Seems the message was a good one in the group song though.

4. Ever notice how whites...
always pick the least talented blacks to represent us?

PS: I just noticed Alicia Keys is on TV now. Yet another example of the white-controlled media's attempt to make blacks look bad.

9. Those same people also picked Charlie Daniels...
...so actually I think they just have questionable taste - don't lump the rest of us white people in with the FOX 'talent' selectors. :)

13. No; then they would have had Ja Rule or Nelly or someone like that
(Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, as I think both BEP and Ms. Keys are very talented)

BEP didn't sound that good last night, but IMO they're one of the few remaining hip-hop groups with talent. 'Where is the Love' is definitely a song with more meaning than 99.999999% of the current "rappers" could produce. 'Let's get retarded (started)' was played at the DNC, and I thought it was a great fit.

6. Speaking of stinking on ice..
... I accidently tuned in to a performance by the "Scissor Sisters" a couple nights back. Never heard of them before, never want to hear them again. I was embarassed for them.

7. I love the Black Eyed Peas
Where is the love? was one of the first anti-war songs that came out.

The Peas performed at the DNC and are totally cool.

I'll admit the performance did suck but they are one of my favorite bands so back off.

11. I like them too
I blamed the performance on the sound system rather than them, but I could be wrong.

12. you really do have to chalk it up to the sound system
...and the fact that hip hop often does not translate well to the stage. BEPs rock.
