5. Corps, Techs and High Tech

1. If you work for them, they'll suck the life out of you, then downsize you and throw a party to celebrate the increased bonuses they'll get for laying you off. (This recently happened to me.)

2. If you sell to them, they'll delay and delay and then act like they're doing you a f*cking favor to pay what they owe.

3. Techs just want to play with toys. Your call is an interruption to their Microsoft Solitaire session.

4. High Tech: Why do you think the initials are "I.B.M"? It stands for "In Business for Money."

Watch a movie, have a Foster's lager and put your feet up. Tomorrow will be better.

6. Not if I dont have job it won't

I guess I should be more descriptive....I work in tech support for a large company. I usually do a kick ass job. My job suffered recently due to personal issues, and of course they put me on a "performance plan" (read, probation). I have been back to where I was pre-issues, but they don't FUCKING SEE IT THAT WAY.

And despite the fact that I've been doing things better than ever, they are just using the whole thing to fucking ax me.

8. The Axe

Well, sounds like they were looking for someone. I got the brown helmet on November 16, 2004. Also after a series of lousy reviews for things beyond my control. Then, the entire staff (including the boss who fired me) got notice last week that the whole regional office (about 40 employees) was laid off, last day March 11.

I got a new gig three days after I left. Last week, I laughed my ass off.
