Hell just froze over! I am getting a 20% Bonus!

In the past years we have had bonuses ranging from 3-8% of our yearly salary. I haven't noticed any great leaps in productivity this past year but yet the notice said 20%.

I am going to make a lump sum payment on my mortgage with it and have that paid off in 2007 as a result!

First that the typist of the notice FORGOT to hold down the shift key and it's supposed to read - @0%

Second that the typist didn't forget the decimal point and it's supposed to read - 2.0%

I'm glad to hear somebody is making it out there on the job front. I wish the economy would improve despite Bush. I don't care if he takes credit for it. There are so many people who are hurting out there. Even I, who thought that I was untouchable, had to take a pay cut at the beginning of the year.

just watch the taxes before you invest it all - I think bonuses are taxed higher than salary.
