I'm watching...REALITY TV!

Yep, The Biggest Loser is on right now. I know the story behind it and the tricks of the reality tv producers but it's compelling, leave me alone.

One thing, this guy has all these heavy people jogging. That can't be good for their knees, can it?

1. of course not. but underwater aerobics makes for lousy t.v.

look also at trump's firing decisions on the apprentice.

if they just didn't CALL it "reality" t.v. ....

that's why I'm so ashamed. I hate unreality tv and make fun of people who watch it, yet here I am...

7. Oh crap, they're voting

THIS is what I hate about these shows. There are aspects of some people's personalities that are NEVER visible until they're on a show like this. OMG, they're crying now...

2. Anything is better than nothing

I lost 67 pounds with diet and walking/jogging (to the best of my ability). Any movement is better then not moving at all. You have to start somewhere and after that you move into the marathon mode. :)

That's a lotta weight to drop, you've got to be so proud. Wow! (I can't stop thinking, WOW!!)


I was thinking of asking about an exercise and fitness group and your experience makes me think the request might be well received.

Thank you! I mean really.....Thank you so much. I stated what I did to drive the point across that I am still not a model size 4 at this time. And I DONT CARE! I was really heavy. But I am a size 14/16, and man I am happy. I was 120 pounds and 115 pounds through high school. I wasn't that weight because I felt thats where I was at my most beautiful. I did it because other people told me I would be beautiful if I hit that mark and stayed there. I was more miserable trying to be skinny on the media/public scale of beauty. My whole presence was based upon what others thought beauty was. When I gained the weight like I did, I had to view myself, and the ideal of what others thought beauty was, in a new way. I just lost the weight because I knew I had to do it for me. I wanted to do it for my daughter. So she would know that HEALTHY beauty comes in all sizes. Many say that there is no bias or judgement from weight, but I know that this isn't true. When I lost the weight I had people approach me. When I was heavy, people always kept their distance. So in terms of "The Biggest Loser"? I hope they stay true to what the show should be about. And thats people finding their own true ideal state of mind and body. Through exercise and mental focus. Not what a media or advertising department thinks they should be. Thanks again for your comments! I really appreciate it.
