1. Their clothes really are ugly, AND badly made.
They don't fit well. Don't look good. And are just so....ew.

I haven't shopped there in years.

11. I've concluded that they have their own sizing system
based on teenage body sizes. Everywhere else in the world I am a small or medium. At Old Navy, I pick up a medium and it looks like it should be on a doll. And that's before the massive shrinkage from the cheap fabric. Normally portioned people should never attempt to purchase jeans there. They'll only last a few washings anyways.

I used to be ok with buying some things there b/c there stuff was cheap relatively speaking, but now the difference between buying their crap and quality clothing has narrowed.

7. Maybe now they do...
I've never paid for a box and the Old Navy stuff I own has lasted quite a long time. I still have a t-shirt from there that's about four years old and it's in great shape.

12. Do you shop at the Gap?
Old Navy is owned by the same family that owns the Gap and Banana Republic. So, if ON's clothes are crap they I would assume that clothes from the Gap and Banana Republic are crap as well. I am sure they are made by the same 12 year old girls at the same sweatshop somwhere in Asia.

14. ON clothing is made by the 8 year olds, not as much sewing experience.

Gotta pay for experience, you know.

15. Nothing there fits me.
Not EVEN a "XXL"...

But I took a couple of those canvas shoulder bags they had last summer and made panniers for my touring bike...

I'm a big one for "Adaptive Use", proly a corporation's product liabilty lawyer's nightmare.

18. They make really cute baby clothes!
Just to be the lone voice of dissention here, their baby/kids clothes are really cute.

And Gap has adjustable waist thingies, which is so helpful, again, for little kids.

Perhaps it is because children make them? :evilfrown:

Oh I'm going to hell now for sure.
