I got up at 7am to get the turkey ready and started cooking.... It smells sooo good! This is the first year that I am doing the turkey for thanksgiving, and it is also the first year that Grandma hasn't done the turkey for thanksgiving! I have to cook it today and take it grandma's tomorrow... Dinner at 1pm. I also tore up bread so I could make stuffing in the morning. It will be very hectic tomorrow morning!
Anyone else baking a turkey today?

I can smell the turkey, I want some turkey now! I'm by myself but if I cook the turkey today then I don't have the turkey odor in my house on Thanksgiving.

It has 22 hours left to thaw!
I might put it in a cold water bath for a couple of hours tonight.
