On a related note, did you realize it costs over $100 and a court appearance to drop a first name you never used when you get married? I went from Jane Elizabeth Smith to Elizabeth Smith Jones after going by J. Elizabeth Smith for umpteen years. The meeting with the judge went like this....

"Yes"

"Okay <sign paperwork> Pay the clerk."
