Has anyone ever noticed when you are ironing.....
you can press and press and starch and press trying to get a good crease but just one careless move where you iron over a wrinkle and it is set for life. Am I the only one this happens to?

3. lol - I thought it was just me.
I've read or heard that a dilution of vinegar water helps remove set in creases.

I've not yet tried it. I'm concerned about smelling like a salad.

4. but if that happens...
.... flatten it out and hit it with some steam and go over it a few times and the unwanted crease will straighten out.. the trick is the steam.

Heyo

5. The chore I hate most is ironing
I'm not a prinma donna or anything, but I hate ironing, I don't know if it's cause I'm so spatially challenged that I just can't seem to do it right, or if I'm afraid I'll burn myself or burn the house down.

I just don't iron. If something needs ironing, I don't buy it or I bring it to the cleaners.

11. Sigh...such are the nightmares of the everyday housewife you see
everywhere any time of the day...This happens to me all too often, for I never mastered the fine art of ironing. My daughter joined C.A.P. last year and her B.D.U.'s (:puke: I hate to see her in them :() have to be pressed just so, and I never get it right.
