1. I can't sleep either. I've always been a night owl but
this is ridiculous.

2. I've been in your situation before a number of years ago
I can't explain what did it, but suddenly my ability to sleep vanished for about a week. I would typically get to bed around 5 or 6 am, to wake back up at 7:30 - after the first couple nights of nothing.

It's strange, but your body adapts, and while you may not be as fast and sharp, you do manage to function.

The way I ended up sleeping again was trying to stay awake. A strange little mental thing, I have no idea why it worked but the thought of keeping myself awake for something - and the subsequent reading of boring technical books knocked my ass right out.
