Something strange happened to me last night
Last night I went to see if my g/f was home but she wasn't, so on my way back home I cut through some apartments and climbed the wall behind mine. (It is so much quicker then walking all the way around to the front, I live in the very back) As soon as I got over the wall some guy who lived across from me said "Hey you! Get over here!" I just stayed montionless and let him come to me, I figured I'm not doing anything illegal and the board members for the apartment complex don't mind if I climb the wall as long as I don't damange it. He came over to me and asked me "Do you got any drugs?" I said "No."(The only thing in my pocket was my house keys and wallet) He then said "I think you got drugs." I said "You can search me" He then said "Have you been drinking?" I said "No, I haven't even been drinking" He said "C'mon man, I know you've been drinking." I said "You can call the police and have them give me a breathilyzer." He then pulled a cell phone with a flash light and said "This is a flash light" and shined it in my eyes! He then asked me "Do you know where I get drugs? I'm looking for some." I said "No I do not" He said "Why?" I said because I really don't know. Even if I did do drugs :smoke: I wouldn't tell him where I know to get some because I don't know him. He asked me where I was coming from, I said "I came from my girlfriend's house she wasn't home, I just came back I'm going home I'm not causing any disturbance and I didn't damange any private property" He asked what was my girlfriend's name was so I told him, he was like do you want to party and get drunk? I said she wasn't home, I came from over there. He pulled out his phone again and asked "Do you want to call her?" I said "The only number I know is the house phone and I just came from over there and I said she isn't home." He said relax, I'm just looking for drugs, you know where I can get any? I gave him the same answer. He said "C'mon I know you know where to get drugs." He then asked for my ID, I wasn't worried because what could he possibly get me charged with? He is looking at it and repeats the question. I gave him the same answer once again then told him "I need my ID, I'm going inside." He says "Well you need this ID, but I need drugs." "How are you going to get it back?" I got pissed and demanded he give it back to me, well he did and said "Relax, I was just checking things out. I live just right here(points to his house) if anyone causes you problems come over and I'll back you up." he then shoke my hand and I went inside. So you're thoughts? I thought it was strange as hell.

1. Grow up! You're not 10 yrs. old & he's not the hall monitor!
Do what women do when some strange guy comes up and starts talking. Ignore him and keep right on going! Or try the phrase: "It's none of your damn business - get lost!"

You're putting us on, right? Who would hand their ID to a stranger.

2. That really is weird
Some kind of paranoid neighbor giving you a hard time to see if you're some sort of junkie? I guess you passed his test at least. You may be able to have some fun by setting him on one of your buddies.

4. Do me a favor
If this happens again, don't give out your gf's name. Now he knows her name and apt. complex and that she almost certainly doesn't live with a man. Not good.

And yeah with the other person's response, what are you doing giving your id to a stranger who is accosting people he doesn't know looking for drugs? Do you have a cel phone? Call 911 next time!

6. I wouldn't let him walk away with my ID
I seen which apartment he came out of, If he started really harrasing me then I would've called the police.

and only gave him her first name, believe me I wouldn't let anything to happen her. No I don't have a cell phone, but he had a cell phone in his hand threatening to call the police. I wasn't worried if he tried to.

12. Whoa!
I would have told the jerk to get lost. The guy was up to no good. Now he knows you're a patsy, and that's unfortunate because he'll probably bother you again. Next time he talks to you, tell him to, 'Fuck off and die.'

13. Yeah. Your exchange went on far too long.
Sounds like your buddy probably used up all his drugs. As a city dwelling woman, I'm a big advocate of the ignore and walk method. It works on the Larouchies, too.

14. I agree
Eventually when he said that I reacted by demanding he give me ID and that I was going home. I cut the line somewhere, but I did keep walking but he went through his front door and came out his back to stop me.

16. I was trying to make a point that I didn't have any drugs on me
He was holding the phone like he was going to call the police, in my mind I was like "go ahead" I honestly wouldn't let him get up on me and search me but if he wanted to get the police involved I wasn't worried.

18. Oh, and reminds me of Ferris Bueller...
At the cop shop:

"Drugs?"

"No thank you, I'm straight."

"I meant, are you in here because of drugs?"

"No. why are you here?"

"Drugs".
