I mean, I've been here since 6am. Woke up and couldn't get back down, then gave up hope of sleeping when the concession thing happened. Then started drinking again which enabled me to take a little afternoon nap. I woke up and it was fucking dark outside. How fucking appropriate.

Anyway, I've been doing my level best to make the Lounge a little less heartwrenching for myself with some misplaced, and often quite sick, humor. It's the only tool I got anymore. But I worry over the people who just haven't checked in at all today.

So any of you who are not on DU today, try to telepathically pop into this thread, to let us know yer OK. It's not the end of the world. It's just the BEGINNING of the end of the world.
