I want this page to incite readers to be responsible and active in the future to prevent the destruction of America by big corporations, but I do not want to look like a preachy hag. Being preachy will have the opposite effect, of course! :-(

This page is political in nature and may be better suited in General Discussion. But it is something of a vanity post, so it probably belongs here.
