12. lady, why must you be so sarcastic?
I meant no offense and such behavior on your part, I feel, is unwarranted

honestly it was an innocent question, though I admit I didnt expect people to have such an easy time justifying their lives

if I bore you I do apologize

or maybe i should get a t-shirt that says:

"I could've been in heaven, but no!! Mom had to birth me"

and on the back "Pro-lifers, go f*** yourself"

or another shirt

"I'm here to take up valuable space and piss you off"

:) happy days are here again...!

17. because when you're drunk and drunk on a regular basis
things that you write seem witty, logical, funny, and fresh when they are, in fact, self-indulgent and sloppy. do you need an example of what alcohol does to a brain and soul over time? go here: www.georgewbush.com
the revolution needs only the clearheaded, not ones who support and encourage with their money and time the corporations and the regimes that relish in the dulling and destruction of young minds, which age into impotence at an accelerated rate when bathed in booze. don't waste a moment doing what is expected of you. you are expected to poison yourself.

make music. fuck. make love. sleep and dream. get angry at this posting.

or drink yourself into decay so this regime and its adherents can scrape you off the soles of their jackboots when they storm into your house.

19. excuse me
but exactly WHAT revolution

did you know that you have a lot of silly ideas?

life is HARDLY validated by making music or fucking or slumber or anger

life IS validated by a desire for absolute certainty. it is sanctified by love. above all love sanctifies

thanks for contributing though!

22. & thanks for illustrating my point: drink away!
and keep your certainty that there is validation and sanctified love in your beer. maintain the white american standard of drunkeness=the good life=a precious life well-lived. and thanks for reminding me of what my wife always tells me: never argue with a drunk and/or a lazy philosopher.

what revolution? you could read walt whitman, richard wright, germaine greer, desmond tutu. but don't worry about it: there is no revolution for you. and perhaps not for me. but if there is a revolution, either overt or subtle, it is logical for me to assume that it will involve joy, and i intend to experience that joy, as i wish for you to experience--although i don't know you--without sedation.

A REVOLUTION OF JOY????? :puke:

Look, Mr Clover, I don't have to be sober to tell you that life is not joy because life simply isnt meant to be enjoyed. We all of us who live must suffer...the nature of life, on the whole in the case of most people (well perhaps UUUU are that rare eXXXception) is to suffer, and, well, to have sex and create and sleep only promotes human suffering by reinforcing the illusion that life is something pleasurable. You don't even have to be semi-literate (Whitman! Greer! Wright! -- havent read Tutu, I'm afraid) or cold-sober to figure that sort of thing out.

edit: I have not been drinking beer. you see? absolute certainty is not such a horrible thing for which to strive
