It's my 37th Anniversary
of playing the violin. :nopity:

We started on Columbus Day, which in those days was not a federal holiday, and was always on October 12th.

To celebrate, I'm playing a gig at 8, and getting a beer afterward. :D

9. Never tried that...
I have found over the years that I have to be really careful about the way I use my hands. I do have a strong grip; but once I was opening a particularly stubborn jar, and injured my hand slightly.
I've done the same thing picking up two cans in one hand to put them on the grocery conveyor belt.

Flexibility and agility are more important than strength for fiddling.
