A Viagra Question. Serious sexual question...
Edited on Sat Sep-11-04 04:06 AM by Lovecrafty
I am 33 years old and have an active, healthy sex life with my girlfriend. In fact, I can hardly keep up...she's 19 years old! She's ravenous! So I was thinking about trying some Viagra, at least on a weekly basis, but not for the reasons it was intended for. I am not impotent, nor do I have a problem with erections. So my question is what would the effects be of Viagra on an otherwise normal person with a normal sex drive? What I'm looking for is a prolonged erection for marathon sex sessions!!! Will I be able to acheive such effects being so young? I mean, I'm no Bob Dole here! Anyone in a similar situation care to comment?

Any long term side effects? Dependency? I don't want to be forced to buy Viagra one day just to get an erection!

4. 33 seems a bit young for Viagra
I would stay focused on getting enough sleep, exercise and a healthy diet. Doing those things could help you out and in a much more natural way.

6. Viagra's not really an aphrodesiac
It's a vasodilator that helps men with circulatory problems have erections. Circulatory problems in the penis are one of the major classes of sexual problems men have -- but mainly, men over 50 or so.

Diabetics, men with high blood pressure, kidney disease, etc., may also benefit, at any age.

If you're 33 and in good health, invest in some sex toys and thank the omnipotent God that made you that you have a girlfriend who likes sex and doesn't want to stomp the eroticism out of you.

8. Really, you're just bragging, aren't you? but...
fwiw, porn sets have bowls of viagra on hand.

Seems both the men and the women have good things to say about it.

9. it doesn't affect your sex DRIVE
all it does is make blood flow to that region easier. if you're not in the mood, then you're not in the mood.

but if you are in the mood, it certainly can make erections easier and harder (hmm, that sounds contradictory, but you know what i mean). you may also stay erect longer, and also have an easier time having another erection after orgasm.

i'm more or less in your situation in that my wife wants it more often than i do. i like sex plenty, just not as frequently as mrs. unblock does. hey, i work long hours on top of a long commute....

plus, i have migraine meds to blame for occassional challenges in that department.

anyway, i would recommend non-medical solutions such as toys and tongues and fingers first. it's ok to acknowledge your body's natural drive and response, and your girlfriend should be cool with that, especially if you're eager to satisfy her in other ways.

10. You obviously haven't learned "The Football Trick"
Just when you are about to come, immediately concentrate hard on NFL Football. Vividly picture Daunte Culpepper calling out the audible, taking the snap. He fades back into the pocket. Randy Moss is open...but wait, NO HE ISN'T! Culpepper looks frantically for a passing lane, the other team's hogs bearing down on him. WAIT! Marcus Robinson is open! Culpepper fires a spiral at Robinson, who catches it easily. He's at the 30...the 20...the 10...TOUCHDOWN MINNESOTA!! "Where the hell was the defense on that play?" asks John Madden, making smacking noises from a slice of cheese pizza, his Sans-a-Belt slacks sliding halfway down his ass.

Repeat as necessary. You can keep this up all night, if you have to. This little strategy has never failed for me, and I've been happily married eleven years.

Fuck Viagra. Don't put chemicals in your body you don't need. Pro football, and a little imagination, is the "jade gate" to sexual splendor.

11. Try it. You only live once
If it works well for you then it's great (Just expensive!)

I've only heard of prolonged adverse effects when mixed with other drugs and/or herbal supplements.

12. Try the newly approved drug Cialis that is supposed to maintain
erections over a long period of time. In fact, it says, you can take it at 5 pm and still have your erections going strong till 3 am.Probably you will need to find another girlfriend at that stage because the first one will be worn out within a week.
