I'm proud of my smart little girl
We read that the average 2 year old has a 30 word vocabulary, so we thought we would count the words our 16 month old says. 115 - this is a good and a bad thing, she is way too smart but is still just a little kid. We forget she doesnt understand a lot since she is always talking - crazy kid.

3. Keep on talking to her
She might not understand even most of what you say, but you are building her vocabulary by talking to her as an older child. Reading to children is good for that purpose too. As long as parents are supportive and don't put too much pressure on their children, a child being smart is not a bad thing.
