Do other countries have a Flag Code?
While I've been watching the Olympics, I've noticed that winning athletes from other countries haven't been particularly careful in handling their flags durign their victory laps. If a US athlete were doing this sort of stuff, he would be excoriated in the press.

Is it just me, or are we the only country on earth that is so finicky about how our flag is handled?

1. i'm not aware of a single country that DOESN'T have a flag code
though they may vary in how much press and/or public attention may be given to violations of such codes.

note that even this country varies in its adherence to the flag code over time and situation. flags as clothing, for instance, are a clear violation of the code, yet are often seen as a sign of patriotism; at worst it is considered gaudy or tacky, but rarely offensive.
