Any favorite Greatful Dead tunes?
Mine is "To Lay Me Down"....esp as covered by the Cowboy Juknys.

Yet the lyrics are a great love song. A really good and true song.

5. I could give you a least favorite.
I am not very familiar with the Grateful Dead, but I have heard a few tunes which were good tunes, but one that I have heard on the radio a couple times that I really hated was "Shakedown Street".

EXCELLENT site! From one of our esteemed Deadheads at DU (don't remember who it was who originally posted it, but THANK YOU!)
Go to the live music archive; in the first row there's a box with a guitar; click on browse bands and you'll find one helluva lot of bands there, including the Dead.

On edit: they have a good selection of Bela Fleck too-can't wait to get my hands on it!

22. I am not too familiar with Grateful Dead songs
but I just saw the movie "Festival Express" last weekend and the concert footage of the Dead (and others) was awesome! Good bluesy rock. Janis Joplin was fantastic as well!

I highly recommend this wonderful film!
