It's FUCKED. I DID throw a rod, and the block is cracked. He says the crack drained all the oil super fast and that's when the motor seized. Ugh...this I don't need

Now explain what those things mean to someone who only knows where the ignition key and gas nozzle go.

THe rest of the car is mint, and a used engine may cost $1,000. I bought the car for $2,700 so I doubt I'll look for another. I'll pay the grand.

12. What I did when my timing chain went last dec
My car had 250,000 miles on it. So a new engine would have been 1500 to 2000 bucks. The car was 10 years old. I was spending about 1500 a year on up keep, only because I had a mechanic that barely charged much over the parts. Or it would have been double that amount to fix. I needed a dependable car. The car dealers in usa had bunches of deals. Bought a pt cruiser for 130000 at 1.9% which is about 320 a month for 4 years. I have a dependable car that is like a car/station wagon/truck all rolled into one. Just passing on my exerience which might give you some hope for another solution....

to get some sweet steel in your engine bay. Is it working?
