2. It went fine

We took some donations in exchange for some buttons and bumber stickers and registered four or five voters in two hours.

4. Please! Tell me something positive about your experience
as an antidote. I'm at the library and I looked at National Review magazine out of curiousity. (Nat'l Rev-eeeeeuw- I'm feeling a little ill!)

6. I did
We collected some donations, gave away some campaign parphanalia to people who said they were voting for Kerry and resigesred a few voters.

That is a positive experience.

10. More than half the people who passed by
claimed to support Kerry, or at the least, to oppose Bush. Some apparent opposition members who went by were funny. We watched them go by, and as they realized which booth we were in they quickly averted their eyes. Some even changed direction. Most of the folks we saw were very positive, though. And I enjoyed actually doing something about the situation besides complaining about shrub.

7. Is the Yolo County Fair still free?
Jeez, Jack Rabbit and Grandma Bear, I forgot all about the Yolo County fair this year... I assume it runs through the weekend? If so, I will visit the booth on Sunday and pick up some good stuff (although I'm secretly hoping it will all be gone by then). ;)

9. I "staffed" it, JR.
You may have manned it, but I staffed it. You staffed it, too, in fact.

By whatever terminology, it was a very good time.

11. Why not use
gender neutral language?

12. Because
. . . gender-neutral language emasculates English.

13. Tsk!
I would say it needs to be emasculated, but I've sold out and want to get along.

On second thought, what we all need is the freedom to be whomever we are, and not bound by gender roles, but able to enjoy them as we please. And language shapes thought shapes behavior.

Why does Bro Buzz think we were at Yolo County Fair? Bro B, would you stop outing folks? :hi:
