Its about damned time Roger Waters and David Gilmore settle their petty differences and have a reunion tour so I can get stoned and listen to them play live, damnit!

4. Dude, it's over.
Remember the South Park episode with Rod Stewart demented and in a wheelchair? We're there. Pink Gilmour hasn't put out an album in almost a decade, and the last one was about two minutes of brilliance surrounded by 40 minutes of filler. Waters had his day, and has had plenty of opportunity to tour his little Wall thing.

The last time I saw Pink Floyd was 1987 or 88. That was more than 15 years ago. Even with Roger Waters, you've got old men, and they're just not playing music that would play well by people with gravely voices. Sure they could tour forever, but they will become more machine than man.

However, Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii is out on DVD. They will therefore live forever in the ashes.

6. not sure
only if they didn't charge ridiculus prices for the tickets; that always pisses me off on these reunion tours.

13. Won't ever happen.

Gilmore is happy now living on his boat and sessioning once in a while with his buddies. Nick Mason played drums with Roger during one of the last stops on Waters tour last year. Waters has only done sporadic recording since Amused to Death came out. The song he did for "The Legend of 1900" was very good, and had Eddie Van Halen doing the obligatory guitar solo. He's also been working on an opera for over 10 years now :eyes:

Pink Floyd really stopped being ground breaking after "The Wall", and yes, I do think "The Final Cut" was a great album. It wasn't different, thats all. I'm watching the Pompeii DVD as I type. That's really when Pink Floyd was a creative force. If they toured now, it would only be so they could rake in the cash from geezers like me.
