Anyone around Memphis?
And they love Johnny Cash?

If so there is an open casting call for the "Walk the Line" movie starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon.

June 5, 2004. It will be from 10 AM to 5 PM at OVERTON HIGH SCHOOL in Memphis. It will be held in the Main Auditorium.

You need to bring a photo with you, that will not be returned.

1. Cool.
I wonder what they're looking for? I live in Memphis, and that sort of thing doesn't happen every day.

2. extras I would assume
People to sit in the audience during concert footage & stuff. I would love to do it myself, but I'm no where near Tennessee. I would really like to hear what goes on behind the scenes. :)

5. Yeap,
He was cast a while ago. Before Johnny died they were talking about Phoenix doing all the singing, but I think that idea was nixed after Johnny's passing.

7. It's just great to hear they are making this movie
I love Johnny Cash and I love Memphis, but I am way up here in Cleveland. I might be heading back down that way this year again, but I'm not sure.
I like that pic of Johnny you have there Momof1. I have the postcard right behind me. It was sent to me in 98 or so. It was Johnny's salute to the Nashville radio scene.
