3. I missed the first 15 minutes...
...and got to the t.v. just in time for the end of that piece. But maybe they re-ran the piece or something. It certainly sounded like and looked like the original piece I saw.

4. Yeah, they recycle some of the non-"news" pieces...

I missed the first 15 minutes, too, but I've often seen The Daily Show offer a new opening segment, new guests, with reruns of Colbert or Corddry or _____ pieces in the middle. Bugs me, but I guess it's hard to produce that much new material all the time.

And that email spammer piece is definitely a repeat, I saw it in early May or late April, I think. Hubby concurs...

(edited to add last comment about the repeated spam segment).

5. Yep. New one, allright.
But old special report piece. Maybe they just didn't have time to come up with something new coming off vacation.

I never watch the interviews if they're with celebrities, so I didn't know based on that.

6. It's a new one, with David Cross
Some funny stuff from Colbert as well--a good show. Some amusing bombs from Stewart as well. :D

8. Always love to see Cross anywhere but...
Stewart really blew that interview. How can you have David Cross on and not let him go off on Bush?!? That's when he's at his funniest.

10. I've seen him here and there before, but...
...don't know much about him except that he's been funny when I've seen him. I best remember him from an episode of "Don't Shoot Me!" that was hilarious.

11. That episode was great

He played Elliot's "retarded" brother. Only Maya finds out that he has only pretended to be retarded for all those years because he was lazy.

He also had a guest spot on Newsradio (along with fellow Mr Show alumns, Bob Odenkirk and Brian Posehn) back in the day.

And don't miss him on Fox's Arrested Development which I think was picked up for another season.
