sticky keys question

oh dear> what have i done?
somehow something called sticky keys popped up< now caps are not< lower case is not< and if i try to backspace< it takes me to a different screen> if i click the mouse<it highlights everything on the page>

help me make it go away< please>>>

1. In the future use a tissue

Just kidding. A new keyboad is only ~$20 and you can just plug it right in. Other than that pop them out and clean them, make sure you get them back in the right spot.

2. Sounds like some sort of virus issue....

Do you have a virus scan? Or just try ctrl+alt+delete and see if there are programs running you're not familiar with, and end task 'em! Good luck..

8. try control panel..

there is an area there that enables and disables the "accessability" functions.. You may have hit some weird combination of keys that accidentally turned them on.,. Handicapped access, allows for all kinds of funky things..

try that..:)

10. To turn on/off "StickyKeys"

Open Accessibility Options in Control Panel.
On the Keyboard tab, under StickyKeys, select the Use StickyKeys check box.

To open Accessibility Options, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Accessibility Options.
To change settings for StickyKeys, on the Keyboard tab, under StickyKeys, click Settings.
