Mrs. Venation is getting better! Praise & thanks be to . . . .

In the last two years, my beloved mate has endured too much health crap to go into. All of it began to make her depression, to which she's always been predisposed, so much worse that she got unending swarms of migraines and was unable to work for months.

Enter a new psychiatrist, who's also providing psychotherapy, and a new antidepressant, et voilà! See the miracle: the face of a woman on the way back!




I took these yesterday when Mrs. V. was planting tomatoes. Last year she couldn't do this. Last year, up 'til about a month ago, she couldn't do anything. In her new straw hat, wearing her new favorite Mooch and his l'il pink sock t-shirt, surrounded by green, my beloved was in her element yesterday, soaking up the sun, wearing herself out doing one of the things she loves best.

I've posted this thread to express my thanks to the DUers who've been wishing Mrs. V. good health, who've been praying for her, and who, knowingly or not, have made her laugh on these boards. I've posted to thank the cosmos, the Goddess, Jesus, and the spirit of Aunt Georgia and all the strong women we come from. Thank you . . . with tears in my eyes, thank you for bringing my baby back to me.
