Where to buy retro rock T-shirts
Edited on Fri May-07-04 06:55 AM by Norbert
First of all let me say Jennifer Aniston rules. I don't know what her intent was but her wearing the MC5 shirt last night on Freinds made her all the more hotter with me.:bounce:

I have a few shirts from back in the seventies stored away but they were bought when I weighed 125 pounds soaking wet. I am 45 pounds heavier and thus these shirt will probably no see the light of day for the foreseeable future.

My question, since I do very little shopping aside from CD or book stores. Can you buy these shirts at Target or Kohls, mare upscale Macys stores or do you need to look for the cubbie hole clothing stores near universities.

By retro I mean I'd like something more thean the latest Greatful Dead or Rolling Stones tour Tees. MC5, Badfinger or something along that order would be nice.

1. For starters...
You can buy retro Stones t-shirts at their site. Yes, ones promoting 30 year old tours. As for others, there's a huge on line industry selling this stuff. I did a search for a Clockwork Orange 't' and couldn't believe the stuff that's available. So, just do a web search - you'll be amazed. Oh, yeah, the original design for the Sex Pistols first album is one of the biggest on line sellers imaginable. And, there's alway ebay.

2. Several sites on the net. Have you checked e-bay?
Here's one that popped up. http://stores.ebay.com/Fashionpunk-Clothing

They've got the MC-5. Also Dead Can Dance & the Carpenters, so they carry a fairly wide range.

This is not a paid announcement! Caveat emptor & all that. But these are new, not "vintage". I've got plenty of vintage ones myself--but they've all shrunk!
