It keeps the conversation going.

Nothing I hate more than a topic getting moved by a Moddy to a discussion that is a day old... no one will see it!

Also.. I post news stories from the foreign press (Japan, Austrailia, Russia) and the discussion gets moved to some stupid quickie post from CNN on page 2 of the forum. I post it cause it is the most current cut at the news or it has a slant to that country's readers!
