1. Did you work Goldberg too?
I might know you! I danced there from '94-'96, before I got my shit together. Good times, man, good times.

5. Mammy,
My little Mammy,
I'd walk a million miles
For one of your smiles,
My Mammy! Oh oh oh...

3. I was "advised" to work in PR or Advertising

I had a head for business and I'm reasonably creative and not afraid to speak in public. I started out majoring in marketing even, but being fairly leftist leaning and some major life changes made me realize that wasn't something I could stomach career-wise. I think I know now (finally), but I'm going into a field I can be fairly diverse with in case I change my mind.

8. Not even close
First, I'm too young to have done that ad. :D Secondly, I changed majors after the first year.
Okay, I'll vote properly. I probably could have made a decent chunk of change if I went the exotic dancer route back then. :7

11. There were three of us in the session. Mine turned to the two guys...
...and said, "Maybe you'd be interested in police work or engineering," and then turned to me and said, "And maybe you'd be interested in nursing or ECE." (He also had my transcripts in front of him, so he ought to have known I was not cut out for either of those things -- I don't have the sciences for nursing, and I hate kids!) I said, "I'd be more interested in auto mechanics!"

Later on, at the parent-teacher night, he asked my parents if I were really interested in auto mechanics, "because she hasn't taken any tech courses or anything..." I think it was all they could do to keep themselves from laughing until they split at the poor guy...and if they hadn't believed he'd made such a sexist remark at me before, they sure did afterwards! :)
