Anyone else enjoy the feeling of vertigo?
Edited on Mon Apr-26-04 05:23 PM by m-jean03
I know it's supposed to be unpleasant, but I find it nothing less than thrilling -- If I get a little shaky at first, I just take a deep breath....and let it out.....WHOO what a rush! :7

Any other fans of vertigo --as well as the fantastic photographs that may induce it? (I collect aerial photos of urban landscapes )

3. You wanna experience vertigo??? Here's what you do:

Drive to College Park Maryland, go to the U of Maryland campus, and park next to Byrd Stadium. It's a horseshoe-shaped football stadium, but in addition to that, on one sideline, there's two TALL decks stacked on top of each other.

I dare you to climb up to the top row of the upper deck of this:

but you can't get me on a ferris wheel for any amount of money. There is such a thing as too much vertigo! :7

7. Not a fan.
I get it pretty badly sometimes (it's hereditary. Thanks, Dad). Airplanes, elevators, escalators, Imax movie theaters (not the movie itself, but the curve of the room). The lights in Vegas. There are many triggers for me, usually when I'm traveling.

10. My sympathies.
I've had it from an allergic reaction to medicine. Just turning my head on the pillow would set it off.

16. Same here.
I'm petrified driving through hilly areas with lots of curves and cliffs and drop offs. No way I'd make it through the Rockies.

20. Hm. I don't think that would be much of an issue for me --
I'm usually OK in cars. (I am a very nervous driver, though, so it's probably not a good idea for me to drive up Pike's Peak or anything...)

I usually get hit while walking, or when I'm about to get into an elevator.

12. It's not fun
I get it from stress, and everything starts spinning and I usually fall over, and then get really sick to my stomach.
