Oh man, I just am not sure things will ever really get better.
Well today, I found out that the battery is not the problem on my car.

I am also upset because I am not doing as well in this stats class as I would like. I think I have a high C. The thing is, I want to get into grad school to study stats. I think it is interesting. THe problem is, it is hard to know what the teacher expects. It is also a module course so the teachers switch off every 5 weeks. I also don't get homework back until after the next one is due. It has not been a cakewalk for anybody there so it is mitigating. I just have a lot of anxiety. I really want to get into grad school so I can augment my background with stats and I want to get out of my rut.

The thing is, it just seems that it does not matter how hard I work to not end up in a certain position, I end up there anyways. No things don't get better in the blink of an eye, but oh, they can always fall apart that fast.

2. Hang in there
Just take things one step at a time and try not to let these things bog you down. Maybe you can find a tutor to help you with your stat class?

3. Can I be real direct?
have you noticed that fewer and fewer people respond to your threads about hopelessness? When I first got on here, you elicited quite the following of well wishers and helpful suggestions. All really good suggestions and advice.

But there is a point where most people pretty much have to give up on people who won't help themselves. And you are falling into that category, I am afraid to say. You seem super nice and super smart -- but if you won't help yourself? There isn't a thing anyone can say or do for you.

You may find one day when NO ONE will care really what you are whining about.

You have been told 100 times: you are undoubtedly depressed. Go to a doctor. All the other problems will cease to be major issues for you. People seem to speak from experience in that regard.

Yet you disregard it and stay on your pity pot.

I just wanted to say something because at some point, no one is going to give a damn about you. Everyone has really complicated lives. They have ups and downs. They have family members who are dying of terrible diseases. They have loved ones serving in Iraq. They have bills they can't pay. They have parents they might not get along with. But they don't WALLOW in it and refuse help....

I predict that you will either take the bull by the horns and get some OUTSIDE professional help, or you will end up killing yourself. What will it be? I hope it's the former....

This will be my last post to you. And I won't click on any more of your threads. But I will wish you the very, very best... and hope YOU turn this around.

4. Have you ever thought about ...
really taking time away from school in general ? Focus on fighting your depression NOW because if you don't , it will really hurt you later in life . You are young , take some time out and get some help before its too late . I was too in your shoes . If you don't do it now , you are going to crash . I agree with what everything BostonTeaParty04 said as well .
