cross image posting between DU and CU or freeperland is common. Don't be creeped out by it, they are just trying to make us look like silly ninny's (or worse) buy posting about us in an unflattering way and choosing a few pictures to back up that assumption.

Sadly, people fall for that sort of thing. My sister-in-law is famous for believing the very first opinion she hears as fact and as a result she actually believes all this nonsense about * being a good leader. But see what I mean? My sister-in-law is hardly the norm, but since it sounds like something you might agree with you'll be inclined to believe my little story. (which is true BTW)

So don't worry about them posting pics from the lounge, all it does is take a small bit of bandwidth away from DU (but ups the hit count!). It is creepy that low-lifes have to steal a few pics to poke fun as someone, but it's going to happen in a media that's as open as the Internet. And keep in mind, IMO, its more pathetic than its creepy.

There are a lot of whackos in this world and some of them react rather aggressively to having their delusions challenged. Look for more trouble with fanatics who just can't take the truth and think before you go too public with your pictures.

Think about the sites that post pictures, addresses and info on the spouses/children of doctors who preform abortions. There are sites showing the medical caregivers on "Wanted" poster style pages and then X's them out when someone shoots one. Of course, sites that do this are always distraught that anyone would resort in violence in dealing with these issues.... Yeah, right.

There have been some lawsuits about sites that show pictures in a provocative manner, but that is sad consolation to grieving families.

Do much to advance liberal causes, but be mindful of your safety. We need all of us in this fight.

In another forum I frequent (www.phlogredux.org) which is unmoderated and mostly liberal. It used to be full of action, but now has settled to a small but solid community.
