Will networks make a big deal out of WMD/SOU tonight?
we have about 10 minutes to ponder (on the east coast at least)... i know cnn didn't give it TOO much coverage today...

so obvious that the african trip was planned to coincide with the release so it'd get swept under the carpet... let's see if the big three networks are smart enough to see that...

thoughts? guesses?

3. it's a slow simmer
The most significant impact will be in the congressional investigations. Er, sorry, the "congressional reviews"

4. terribly suspicious of the timing
Wouldn't put it past them.

Also, Cheney was in the hospital all day so he couldn't answer any questions.

CNN made more of it than I thought they would but the Repub spin machine is already out in full force.

J.D. Heyworth (Rep Arizona) was on Crossfire and kept repeating that "...Clinton said Saddam had nucs, WMDs etc". I think that's the line we're going to hear all night.

6. Clinton bombed Iraq in 1998 and WMD dissappeared
It's all Clinton's fault Bush* can't find his WMD.

5. CBS, ABC, NBC vs. FAUX, MSGOP, CNN
Obviously the network channels will make a bigger issue of this than the cable "news" channels.
