RW-ers: The Most Gullible People On The Face Of The Earth
Case in point, has anybody gotten that stupid "Target Stores Are Anti-Veteran and Owned By The French" email? I have seen it posted on one non-political forum and gotten it from two wingnuts on opposite sides of the country.

It took me 3 minutes to fact check it and see that literally every "fact" presented for boycotting Target was 100% false.

And let nobody else on the scores of people cc'd on it even look up the facts! They all start ranting about boycotts, etc., at the drop of a hat.

Same with WMD, Jessica Lynch "Rambo" stories, "the economic recovery," you name it...when did everyone get so freaking stupid?

1. I think I know the reason for the stupidity...
Most of those penis enlargement pills can cause brain damage.

2. My favorite RW lie
is the one about Canada being bankrupt, supposedly because of their health care system.
Fact of the matter is that Canada just posted its 6th straight surplus, something Governor Bush couldn't do to save his life.

4. Canada
Do you live in Canada? I have been seriously thinking of sending my daughter to college in Vancouver -- even though it would be more expensive for us than for Canadians, $8,000 a year is still a bargain compared to here!

Sometimes I think this business of making education more and more available only to the elite, is just in the interest of promoting stupidity. If there wasn't rampant stupidity, ignorance and apathy GWB wouldn't have a chance.

26. It's important to remember that Canada . . .
. . . relies heavily on its trade with the U.S. Canada's economy is in "good" shape from a Canadian perspective because their weak dollar has driven up their exports to the U.S. But the weak dollar has also caused their standard of living to decline relative to the U.S. because consumers in the U.S. can afford to buy things that Canadians cannot afford to buy. This applies even to a lot of things in Canada, like oceanfront property in the maritime provinces, great hockey players, etc.

3. it started in 1976
people stopped sharing a join amongst the whole group and started going off in private to do cocaine.

That was the end of "us" and the beginning of "me".

and "me" can't see too well by himself.

That's also why there is so much 70's nostalgia people dream of and long for a time when their was progress-

6. Dumbass freepers
probably thought because people kid around and call Target "Tarzhay" that it was somehow French, and concocted a story that the store chain was anti-Murikan.

8. J'adore Tarzhay!
Actually it says on snopes.com that they guy who started it, was turned down by a local Target store when he asked for bucks for some Veteran memorial thing....but the reason is because they give through their corporate offices not through individual stores.

It turns out they are on the Forbes list of Most Generous Companies -- that they had in fact donated a lot to Vet causes including the one he rants about in the letter -- there is apparently another version of the letter which has them GAY owned or something...

7. It was always bad...it got Orwell-level with the onset of Goebbels v2.0
Including a billion dollar network of Propaganda Mills (the Busheviks erroneously call them "think-tanks")...

and a multi-billion dollar Party-Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media that, in addition to it's own creation, has effectively changed the mores of "journalism" into a Soviet-style Pravda festival...

and MUCH MUCH MORE!

So much isn't allowed to be discussed on TV...behind the Televised Curtain of the Amerikan Empire.

This is not a coincidence that our media is looking more and more like Old Soviet Pravda every day. Once the Leader in World Journalism, rapidly degenerating into World Laughingstock.

10. Oh hell, they still think Osama was stalking Ollie North.
And that Ollie North testified to it in front of Congress.

If it supports their viewpoint, nothing is beyond belief for a freeper, source be damned. If it doesn't support their viewpoint, the source is immediately suspect, and if the author misspelled the name of a quotee in an article 25 years ago, they'll paste it everywhere.

One of the best tests is to ask them:

Did you know the word gullible isn't in the dictionary?

See what kind of responses you get!

19. I received that Target email from two different people...
I replied to everyone on the email list and told them about the misunderstanding that started the email, then asked them to spread the truth as assiduously as they spread the original.

Not one person responded.

It's that way every time. Even the guy who started the original flap tried spreading the true story and he said no one was interested.

Apparently, the RW isn't just gullible. Its minions apparently actually prefer lies. Go figure.

Yeah people are stupid...

Then I will believe you. I'm not talking about one single nut....IMO you can COUNT on RWers will believe ANY AngryMan type email they get with no discussion or fact checking. The same way they believe Bush has made the world safer because he says so, even though bombs are exploding as he says it and our service people continue to die every day!

MLM'ers prey upon this crowd constantly. Companies like Amway(Alticor) and countless others have made fortunes conning these people out of their hard earned money. One would think that after being used by the repugs and flim-flam artists alike some of them would wake up and smell the coffee.

Come to think of it, this would be a great way to DEFUND the right. Start an MLM front company and send the proceeds to favored Democratic candidates.
