BBV: Breaking news....Sam Reed Washington SoS
States he was not aware of any problems with the voting companies.

Yeah right!

Was on the radio and one of my supporters sent along the message.

"Hi Andy,
I heard you on the radio today--KOMO. You were great. I heard Sam
Reed
say that he wasn't aware of the problems until today--yeah right, but
even
if it is true he's not doing a very good job, is he?
God luck with this."

2. You'd think...
but then he is too busy flying off to China. He would rather do that than take care of his job here in the state.

3. Well, you know the main job of the SoS
is to grease "relations" between the people of the state and foreign powers. Unfortunately the average person in WA ends up on the bottom - ok for some but not a position that is willingly adopted by most.

But there is an honest function to be performed by the SoS in this area as well as elections. I would delight in having an SoS who promotes trade with worker coops and negotiates other fair trade agreements, who negotiates on behalf of organic farming interests, etc.

4. Congrats Andy
While I was in the SoS meeting in CA, suddenly a 12-inch stack of paper arrived and was set on the main table for the Voting Systems Panel members. After the meeting I learned it was copies of your materials from the announcement today.

They were all buzzing, and axious to dig into the materials.

5. Who is responsible for delivering the BBV materials to the SOS
meeting? Sounds like a dramatic moment!

7. Most of these election
officials seem to be VERY good at playing stupid. Their allegiance also seems obviously to the "voting" machine corporations and NOT the People. How did this happen?

8. We have been sending
everything we can about the machines to our SoS here is Kansas. My husband has called and written but we get no return calls nor do we get an written responses. There has really been nothing about it in the press at all. We keep trying. WTG Andy, Bev and all.
