Y'know..... I could immediately sign up for every one of your slogans. I'm *there*!

However, as I look at them, it strikes me that *I* know what it means, but... most of my neighbors wouldn't

I'm thinking that's a big part of "our" problem.... our issues aren't easily made into quick soundbites. "Our" philosphies entail a maturing of the thought process, rather than a quick wagon to jump on.

I'm chuckling because the image I got is of having local seminars we can attend to strengthen our own understanding of the issues, and help us learn how to teach and debate them, which would enable us to go out on the streets and hand out pamphlets, etc, and engage the citizenry in debate and conversation more in depth. Give the religous street cons a run for their money! :) Actually, it would be *really* good if those on the religious left would do something like this... take back the gospel from the right.

Hmmm.... thinking, thinking, thinking....

Kanary, whose poor head is about to explode.... :)

7. better than freeways might be busy suburban commuter roads and underpasses
Freeway blogging is problematic because of the speeds and the possible dangers posed by the signs falling onto the freeway.

A better alternative might be the busy surburban roads that are crammed with commuters every work day. In my major metro area, there are an enormous number of roads that actually more rural a decade or so ago, and now are packed at rush hour. These might make an excellent place for blogging.

Also, signs could be placed under freeway overpasses in busy locations.

This may sound silly to many of you, but a propaganda war is being fought, and the neoliberals are winning. That is why we are working harder and longer every year just to stay in place. What happened to the dreams of future leisure we envisioned back in the 50s when technology would perform our labors. Technology has advanced, but we are working harder than ever, while the social democracies in Europe are working less and less....

9. Months ago I was reduced to writing stuff on dollar bills.
I was a grown 28 year-old man doing this. That's how bad it was.
