1. OMG. What else won't we be able to count on--the sun coming up
each morning? Daschle wimpiness? The last I heard a reference to *'s popularity was last week--Nofacts on Crossfire, saying the Dems were afraid to confront a popular president.

Maybe we should have a pool on the exact date on which * will be referred to by anyone as popular. In the pool, one of the choices should be never again (from my typewriter to God's eyes).

* will never be unpopular among political cartoonists.

3. Cokie trys to appear impartial BUT . . . her dem colors will come out .
I've always considered her to be a good and fair journalist. As the election nears, her left-leaning views will become pronounced. Like a lot of journalists these days, she's trying to look objective. But when it counts, she's on our side.

4. You're thinking of her NPR days with Nina Tottenberg
she's been corrupted terribly by her corporate media deals.

7. Who are you talking about?
The Cokie Roberts I see and hear is nothing but a GOP mouthpiece - bashing anything and anyone Democratic, and finding obscure situations to praise Smirk in.

8. Its such a shame
I really admired her mother, Lindy Boggs, when she was in Congress. Never saw her father the late Hale Boggs (major player who died in a airplane crash; Lindy was elected to take Hale Bogg's seat in congress), but I can't imagine that he was an ultra, ultra conservative democrat. But I could be wrong...
