More Wolfowitz idiocy... The lack of logic is mind-bending!
So Iraq is linked to Al Qaeda because Bin Laden "first called for the death of Americans because they were stationed in Saudi Arabia to carry out flights over southern Iraq". (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A54065-2003Jul27.html)

By that measure, WE are linked to Al Qaeda as much or more than Iraq. The lack of logic is astounding. The tenuousness of the links they are willing to put out are moving beyond all stages of reason to sheer ridiculousness. One can only hope it's a sign of desperation.

Also, now, apparently, the fighters attacking American troops are "terrorists". Not "freedom fighters. Not "the enemy". Not "enemy combatants", "unlawful enemy combatants", or even just "the bad guys". No, we attack a sovereign nation, and those who fight back are now "terrorists".

What's next? Saddam is linked to Bin Laden because they are both "swarthy types", and anyone who complains about what we do is a terrorist? (or are we already there yet?)

1. pretty much already there
Or didn't you hear about the nun that went to jail for disagreeing with the GOP WARMONGERING...

Or didn't you hear about the guy who was arrested in Texas for holding up a sign about 300 yards from Chimpy? (the "reason"?...he was outside the "designated free speech area")....Um...I thought the United States WAS a DESIGNATED FREE SPEECH AREA....GOP logic....astounding

6. Was that the nun
Who broke onto private government property? I mean it's not like she was sitting in her convent talking about how much she didn't like the GOP WARMONGERING and they busted in and took her.

2. Al'Qaeda in Iraq?
...nope, at least not before we started trashing the place.

But there's copious evidence that Al'Qaeda 9/11 terrorists were operating from a comfortable safe haven in......FLORIDA!

That's it. Regime change in Florida. Bomb them into next week.

3. You still expect logic? Don't confuse them with the facts!
They rely on single-minded, blinders on, testosterone-fueled forging ahead no matter what. And Philosophers tell us Positivism was destroyed by the horrors of WWI! Well, it's back, and the Cabal is its regal embodiment.

May their heads fall on the chopping block like the tyrants they are.

4. I heard that fool say that on MTP.....
and he was also saying how much 12 years of sanctions had hurt the Iraqui people...like we had nothing to do with keeping the sanctions in place when others wanted to ease them.

8. I often wonder
whether Wolfowitz resents Saddam merely because Saddam was able to 'achieve' that which Wolfowitz aspires to achieve. Saddam was extraordinarily effective in quashing the al Qaeda in Iraq. (Police states are like that.) Contrary to allegations, the al Qaeda presence in Iraq was an order of magnitude lower than in (say) Saudi Arabia (a Busholini 'ally') or even, it turns out, the US. How many acts of terrorism (other than by the US) do we know of in Iraq?
