This is what Lieberman has been repeating in every interview of the last 24 hours. I this for real, or is the DINO brigade just upset that Gore's backing someone outside of their idealogical spectrum? Maybe he's getting more money because his existing supporters feel sad for him in not getting called up by Gore.

2. He's confusing pity with support....
That's all. How the hell would he know? It's not like there have been a ton of polls out since Gore's endorsement.

3. He got $20 from a lucky lottery ticket he bought
But that's about it.

Good riddance, things will be much better when he finally drops out.

I love how the Daily Democrat about him sank like a two ton elephant today.

4. When I was a union officer, we used to tell management that we
were getting tons of phone calls on a particular issue when we probably got a couple. No one is going to check phone calls. It's a tactic that works. Did I lie? You bet.

6. The grapes have been souring on the vine with
Lieberman all day. He has been on every show that would have him dennouncing Gore and Dean. Sour grapes only makes a very bad whine.

7. Joe needs only to give the appearance of a surviving campaign
before throwing his support behind Gephardt.

8. I don't know about Joe but Dean sure is.
7000 new signups to the campaign and $398,000 so far toward the bat.

9. I doubt it.
The new "support" Lieberman is getting (if he is getting it at all) is not to be equated with votes. Some of these people are pitying but may not necessarily vote for him. Besides, I feel like Lieberman did it to himself, for the most part. He was Republican-Lite with the stuff he's been doing and I think he knew it, so now he's trying to tie in the whole Howard Dean being a bad change for the party, etc.

10. many feel sorry for him
i admit i did also on hearing that he didn't hear of the news until it was reported by the media. so i can see some people giving him something for it. people who aren't strongly backing any candidate and don't pay attention to politics as much but are likely to support a democrat.

Oh, what can I say? Old Joe "the Jester" is our comedy relief. I seriously doubt anyone is going to vote for him because of sympathy. That feeling will defnitely not last until next November. Besides, Al tried to call him, but Jaded Joe was not available.

I DO seriously suspect him of being on the Ream-publican payroll, however, to divide us.
