Could we sway opinion? Could we place some doubt?
Think how cool it would be if the aura of Bush's inevitability were pierced. Think of the benefits to Dems if Bush had to spend money to defend his nomination?

Maybe we should start passing rumors that he isn't going to be the GOP's nominee. Maybe we could talk about deals being made that if his numbers drop below 45 he'll face a challenge? Maybe we could whisper that donors are holding off until they see what happens by Labor Day, and they don't want to be stuck with a turkey?

Strategic Disinformation. You know they do it.

1. Hmmm. McCain sure has been in the news a lot lately
I wonder if any of those Republicans from the Republican wing of the Republican party would like to get their country back from the neocons.

We could probably talk Quayle into running. Why not?

2. The Aura of Invincibility .....
Is a political concoction fabricated out of whole cloth ..

PLEASE dont be so defeated by meaningless propoganda ...

We need you (everyone) to be completely committed, believing success is a realistic possibility ... and there is NO REASON to presume it isnt .....

The GOP is in deep trouble .....

3. I hear a lot of fundies are getting upset that Bush has had affairs
even though he is a married man. They want someone else to be the nominee.

4. I've heard that too
The fundies are probably going to go for Buchanan - a real conservative, not a world-empire weasel.

If Laura leaves him it will all be over for Smirk.
