3. Kucinich came out on top for me
Dean #2. Works for my first choice, but I can't make up my mind who my #2 guy is.

Interesting when checking the total results how well Kucinich is doing.

What's ironic is that I was learning about cognitive dissonance today in my psych lecture. :dunce:

8. Here is why:

Explanation of the National Freedom Scorecard

For each vote on amendments, bills or resolutions, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) examines the issue's significance to the preservance of civil liberties and indicates to whether they are in support of the motion or opposed to it. If a member of Congress votes against the ACLU position, for that vote they are given a rating of 0%. If they did not vote, they are given a rating of 50% for that vote. They are given a rating of 100% if they voted according to the ACLU's position. A member's overall score is the average of all the ratings they have received. For example, if they voted against the ACLU position on one vote and yet in another case voted according to the ACLU position, their overall rating is 50%.

Therefore, there are votes the ACLU will reduce or increase a Senator's standings on that others did not make. This skews the presidential choice somewhat as oddly Kerry gets only a 50% from the ACLU. If he missed a vote they considered important it lowered his score.
