Lee Scott (of WalMart) speaks with Forked Tongue.
I was reading an article this morning in the St.Petersburg Times
about WalMart and came across this little Jewel of a statement.

"Lee Scott, chief Executive, say he is committed to preserving the
"Folksy Culture" of Mr. Sam.....
...admits it's workers basic pay is less than that of it's rivals, but
insists that respect for it's workers is central to it's philosophy"

WTF!! So...the best way to have respect for your employees is to pay them slave wages without health insurance ???

You know, these kind of insane comments remind me of a husband who says:

"Yeah, honey...I beat you every day but I love and respect you"

I'll bet most of the walmart employees who read the article are thinking.....Geez, please don't respect me any more...just pay me a decent wage!

1. A multi-billion dollar company
like Wal-Mart, paying the low wages it does to its employees, while at the same time, refusing to allow them to form a union so they can get fair wages and benefits, is the very definition of disrespect. We need a large disinformation campaign in order to smack down these lying perps.

2. This Is Just Republican Greed Wrapped In The Veneer Of Gentility
If you watch Republicans long enough, you will note this tactic over and over.

Many people vote Republican because "they are so nice." All the while the Republicans are stealing money from their pockets.

Republicans have mastered the art of theivery while making you feel good about being robbed.
