Tonight's NIGHTLINE
Edited on Tue Nov-04-03 01:18 AM by Paragon
A military doctor in a tentful of injured soldiers from yesterday's helicopter downing looks in the camera and sarcastically says:

"'Major combat operations are over.' Yeah, right."

Priceless. I wish everyone could've seen that. :)

1. Actually ABC news showed it both Sunday and Monday night
Monday night they actually interviewed him a bit. It definitely got the point across!

6. "War of choice"
Edited on Tue Nov-04-03 01:39 AM by Cush
"this is not one we had to fight"

Said by some guest (former Bush official?), people will support wars that are necessary, like WW2 and Korea, but wars of choice are harder to support.
