1. Classic!
"You have a totalitarian and a fruitarian mindset, and you hate American audiences. You say that you love America and Americans, but you clearly hate American audiences. You think they're fools to go to these movies, and your contempt for the country, I think, is apparent and hypocritical."

This is just beautiful! No one could have said it better, IMO.

Martin

2. What a brilliant man O'Reilly is!
Kill Bill isn't for children, but what can we do to stop kids from seeing the film? There must be a way...let me think...how about a rating system? That just might work! Still not sure how to keep them from projecting the film onto the playground slide, though...

3. It's easy to go to a film like that is most movie theaters
You buy a ticket to 'G' movie or whatever and you walk into the 'R' rated movie seating section. It is that easy.

5. Sure,
but it seems like O'Reilly's beef should be with the theaters then, not with the film makers. There are ways to solve the theater switching problem, such as put R rated movies in one area of the theater (many theaters have 2 wings these days) and take tickets there instead of at the front door. O'Reilly has no problem writing a murder mystery book filled with what some would consider pornographic scenes, and there is NO rating system on books. How are parents supposed to keep O'Reilly's book out of the hands of their children on the playground?

7. At our biggest local theatre...
they have 24 theatre screens and in front of the ones showing popular R rated movies, such as Kill Bill, they put an usher outside the door checking the ID's of the people going into the theatre.

I believe it was for Cabin Fever, a young couple in front of my wife and I was stopped by the usher. The girl did not have her ID with her, so they were not allowed to enter the theatre. They were told that they could return to the ticket counter and receive a refund for the tickets or they could choose to watch some other movie.

6. apparently O'reilly missed the fact
that most movies are aimed at the teenage crowd. Most thinking adults don't go to bad movies, and can decide for themselves what they want to see. Why don't these guys believe in the market forces like they do in other stuff.

8. hee hee Madhya
The transcribers didn't get the reference to the play Medea by Euripides. They wrote it as Madhya which seems to be a district in India.

Dorks.

9. What about the homophobia?
I was struck by Bill O'liarly's grasping at the Grammy Awards duet between Elton John and Eminem as CBS showing Elton John jumping on and embracing Eminem ... in some kind of sick pro-homosexual indoctrination of children supposedly.

This guy is a pathetic loser and this side comment is very indicative of what really drives this homophobe crazy.
