Richard Shelby said the buck does NOT stop with the president!!!!!!!!!!!!!
swear to god!

he just made the most amazing mistake, didn't he?

from now on, all the dems have to do is ask EVERY pug, over and over, where the buck stops. does it stop with the president, or not?

if not, WHERE? Cheney? Powell? Rice? Tenet? DeLay? Hastert?
Schwarzenegger? Newt? Bo Derek? Fess Parker?

aren't they the ones that are always harping on people taking responsibility and being held accountable???

or is it just that people OTHER THAN REPUG's have to take responsibility????

7. I heard this too
..and couldn't believe his bullshit. Why didn't that woman go further with her questions, though?

...as in...are you saying that Bush is not responsible for his state of the union address?

...or more importantly, why didn't she mention the Oct speech??

But, yes, according to the Republicans, the only buck that stops with Bush is a campaign contribution.

Shelby is a whore.

13. If we get the government we deserve, as I suspect, a lot of national
penitence might be in order.

15. It is axiomatic in a constitutional monarchy....
...that while the King may be misled by venal or incompetent ministers, and may be in error in his own person, the King's Majesty can do no wrong.
