Do repugs have any principles?
Are there any principles that repugs hold so dearly that they wouldn't sacrifice them to win an election? They used to say that nation-building was wrong, but now they support it. They used to be against foreign aid, but now they want to give more money to Iraq than to California. They used to find deficits horrible, now they not only tolerate them, but seem to like them and see great advantages to huge deficits. They used to be against sex, but support Ahnold's sexual harassment. In fact, Ahnold has quite a few ideas they don't agree with (gay rights, pro-choice, public education, etc.) but support him happily and bragged when he was elected.

It seems to me that repugs will support anyone who just calls themself "Republican." Apparently you don't have to have any principles whatsoever.

3. Yes, but not "good" ones.
Win at any cost is one that they will never sacrifice in order to win an election.

Get a bunch of nice young liberals to hide in the party, rise through the ranks, and when enough are high up,

BOOM

Hijack their party!

8. They did once, I think
But Goebbels v2.0, as with the original version, has been designed to erase any principle or critical thought from the victim, leaving only a readily programmable automaton as in Orwell's "1984"

BUSHEVIK MASTERS: Deficits bad (1975-2001)

REPUBLICANS: Yes, deficits bad.

BUSHEVIK MASTERS: Deficits good.

REPUBLICANS: Yes, deficits good.

Actually, the reality is not that far from my mockery.

I've been maintaining that list for a few months now and post it as necessary - a couple of DU'ers also made suggestions.

13. Sure, they've got plenty!
Any principle that supports what they want to do at the moment. Of course, they might use the opposite principle for the next thing they want to do.
