Howard Kurtz is a hack

I'm glad Katrina van den Heuvel was on, but I can't stand the premise of Kurtz's show on CNN. It pushes the idea that anything that makes Bush look bad can't possibly be a strict statement of the facts; it has to be politically motivated.

If Bush is suddenly getting a lot of negative coverage, it must be that this vague entity "the media" has collectively turned against him. Nobody considers the simpler explanation, that Bush is just ruining everything he touches.
