Tonight I read an interview with Wolf in Travel and Leisure magazine, and considered sharing some of it here. But after reading posts about his CNN on-air question today about the lack of Iraqi appreciation, and pondering about whether Wolf was the brightest candle in the church, I decided to go ahead and post this question and answer from the interview:

T&L: What do you do to unwind?

Wolf Blitzer: Believe it or not, I love spas and try to get facials on a regular basis. I'm also a deep-tissue massage kind of guy. The Boca Raton Resort & Club's Spa Palazzo has a great service called the De-stress Muscle Release, but the best spa I've been to is at the Ritz-Carlton, Doha, in Qatar. Here in Washington, I'm a regular at the Four Seasons spa in Georgetown.

9. Proof that justifies my ranting...

The MSM are too well paid, too well fed, too close to those they cover, 'are not like you and me...'(thanks to Fitzgerald), have no common ties to the poplulace. A guy who gets facials and deep tissue massage is not going to be able to understand the folks who are scrambling to keep houses warm during this winter and not go broke doing it.

The media is now its own self supporting behemoth, incestuous at best, cannabalistic at worst. Their take on "news" is inteverviewing talking heads from other shows. They live in a secluded, gated, warm world. We should trust very few of them. They need the hand that feeds them too much, the deep tissue massages are hard to give up...
